OWLS AND RABBITS oh my!

When I draw I am constantly wondering if what I am drawing LOOKS like what I am trying to make it look like. This sounds super confusing as I am writing this. Basically I sketch an owl and go around to everyone who will listen and say: "What does this look like?" AND it usually comes out the way I would like it to. BUT this particular illustration seems to be confusing to some and baffling to my dear ole dad. His answer was PRICELESS. The illustration is (SPOILER ALERT) an OWL in a RABBIT COSTUME. My dad thought it was A RABBIT that ate Abe the owl. I was laughing so hard at that. I had to share. Here is the new design that I MAY or MAY NOT use!
